Who is this course for?
Urdang Intensives @ City is an innovative Musical Theatre and Dance course designed exclusively for aspiring performers aged 16 and above regardless of previous experience.
This comprehensive 5-day course is tailored to hone students’ skills, elevate confidence, and prepare for success at Higher Education training institutions.
Course overview
You will gain skills and experience that can be utilised across all areas of Musical Theatre and Dance within the higher education sector, making the move to professional training even more accessible.
You will take part in a carefully crafted timetable of Musical Theatre and Dance classes and workshops with industry experts, as well as the opportunity to meet and work with Urdang and City staff; giving students a taster of drama school life.
Participants will also have the advantage of a potential fast track to the recall stage of Urdang auditions. This exclusive opportunity gives those students a direct pathway to a face-to-face recall audition day at Urdang during the 2024/2025 audition season.
Timetable
This is a comprehensive 5-day course running Monday-Friday.
Each day starts at 10am and finishes no later than 6pm.
The week will culminate with ‘Full Out Friday’ – a long standing Urdang tradition, where participants showcase their abilities to Urdang tutors and staff. For those who impress, there is an opportunity to be given a fast track to the recall stage of an Urdang audition.

How to apply
This programme is a non-auditioned course and anyone can apply regardless of previous experience.
This is an opportunity to expand your skill set, have fun and experience life at Urdang.

This is a non-residential course. Students should organise their own accommodation as necessary. Our nearest tube stations are Angel (Northern Line) or Farringdon (Elizabeth Line).
Course costs must be paid in full at the time of booking.
